Sony Xperia Acro HD, high-end Android smartphone with TV Tunner

As already announced by NTT DoCoMo, Sony Xperia acro SO-03D HD Android smartphone will be released in Japan on this day March 15, 2012. Acro HD is said to be biased version of the Xperia Ion asia from AT & T. But of course there are some additions to the device to the U.S. as it has been reported since January, such as One-Seg TV tuner and mobile wallet functionality.



Acro HD will be present in 4 color choices: Aqua, Black, Ceramic White, and Sakura. Acro HD is a modified version of the Xperia Ion, but with a smaller screen and some extra features. This device has a 4.3 inch screen with 1280 × 720 HD, 1.5 GHz dual-core, behind the 12 MP camera (Exmor R sensor, F2.4 lens, 1080p video capture), and 1.3 MP front camera, 1GB of RAM , 16 GB of internal storage, One-Seg TV tuner, mobile wallet functionality, and has a waterproof IPX5/IPX7 quality.

This product is also holding a Gingerbread Android 2.3 OS, but it also blows the news that this product will immediately update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich after the release.

There is no information about the price to be priced in Japan. Although this news is one of the good news for Japan, we are looking for just its presence in America.
