Nokia 808 PureView is a smartphone Nokia Symbian-Belle based equipped with 41 megapixel camera Carl Zeiss optics and a new pixel oversampling technology. With a standard resolution (5 to 8 megapixels), this camera can zoom and capture 7 pixels of information, into a single pixel to the image sharp. While in high resolution (38 megapixels), this camera is capable of capturing images, zooming, reframe, crop, and resize, by exposing the details of which were not previously visible.




Nokia 808 PureView also featured with  full 1080p HD video recording and playback with 4 times zoom lossless. The phone also is the first product that uses Nokia Rich Recording technology. This technology is able to record CD quality audio class, which was previously only possible with an external microphone.

This phone also features Dolby Headphone PureView proprietary technology, which converts stereo content into surround sound personal experience in each headphone Nokia comes to playback Dolby Digital Plus 5.1-channel surround sound.
