New York, U.S. - Apple finally puts an end to all claims against HTC over alleged patent infringement 20 iOS after the two agreed to binding licensing agreement for 10 years.
With this agreement, both parties have begun to dispute since March 2, 2010 and then it would at least not be seen fighting in the courts until the next 2022 years.
"HTC is pleased to have reached an agreement with Apple, so that HTC can focus on innovation than litigation (legal issues)," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, as quoted from Engadget, Sunday (11/11/2012).
While Apple's lawsuit against HTC, two and a half years ago, the International Trade Commission and U.S. District Court, also expressed satisfaction with the agreement this.
"We are pleased to have reached an agreement with HTC. Now we stay focused on developing innovative products," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO.
Agreement deliberations both giant technology vendors are arguably good news, given in recent years antarvendor technology patent wars intensified.
