Apple should be proud of ourselves as one company that always puts quality and innovation high on every new product. However, when referring to a survey released by ComScore sites, it seems Apple still must accept the fact that Google is still a technology company that is still won the trust of the consumer-user consumer gadgets.
In the survey, ComSocre collect data from as many as 30,000 service users smartphone and post-paid subscribers in a period of three months until May 2012. Of research, found that 25.7 percent of consumers use mobile phones branded Samsung. One fact that is surprising is as much as 50.9 percent of consumers trust Google's Android as the operating system.
This indicates that Samsung and Google jointly chart shows a fairly steady increase. Especially when compared with the results of a ComScore survey released in June, where it won a percentage Android 0.8 percent from February to the market growth rate. While Samsung's own figures show 0.1 percent, with some competitors eyeing a second behind the name.
Apple with its own IOS is still standing in second place behind Google's Android to users as much as 31.9 percent. While Research In Motion (RIM) came third with 11.4 percent followed by Microsoft users and 4 percent, and Symbian (1.1%).
While in the category of manufacturer, Apple made a surprise return. But this time not because of his achievements, but to "defeat" of the South Korean manufacturer. Samsung has made sure the predicate as a brand that is most widely used, followed by LG in second place with 19.1 percent of the amount. Apple still has to stand in third place with 15 percent of users, followed by Motorola (12%), and HTC (6.1%).
Based on these data, it is clear that Android managed to make the customers satisfied with the variety of development that has been done by the developer company. On the other hand, Apple still must strive to create the latest innovations that can re-attract the attention of its users. As for Microsoft, the launch of Windows Phone 8 may be one key to be able to compete in the real world of smartphones.
In addition to these figures show the gadget users, the survey also showed that consumers are more likely to use mobile phone to send short messages or SMS than to update the status in the networking soial. A total of 74.8 percent of users prefer to use SMS features via smartphone.
While 51.1 percent of consumers use mobile phone to download the latest applications that are available and 49.8 percent to capitalize internet surfing in cyberspace. Only 30 percent of smartphone users prefer to access social networking or writing in a personal blog.
