Is Sony Preparing Water Resistant Xperia Tablet Z?

After Sony introduces its latest Android smartphone, the Xperia Z, it was rumored that the Japanese vendor is preparing a tablet with the same name.

As quoted from the site Unwiredview, Sony is currently preparing a tablet device that will be named Xperia Tablet Z.

Hardware specs of Sony's tablets were already circulating on the Internet. Xperia tablet called Z will use a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200, S4 Snapdragon processor quad-core 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

From the side of the camera, the tablet has a thickness of 6.9 mm will use 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Features support network was complete, the Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and LTE.

To support its performance, this is equipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a big capacity of battery, 6,000 mAh.

Interestingly, Xperia Tablet Z can be used wet alias waterproof, dustproof as well. This is a feature similar to that found in the Xperia smartphone Z.

For information, the last tablet devices launched by Sony were Xperia Tablet S. The tablet was first introduced at the IFA 2012 event in Berlin, together with Xperia T.
