In this 2,36 minutes duration video, featuring three smartphones are dropped by three stages. The first stage, three phones will be dropped in a certain height with the position of the rear casing as the target.
The second stage, the target is part of the corner of the phone. In the last stage, the phone is dropped face down with their display as target. What happens if the touchscreen phone is dropped.
As you can see in the video above, the first stage of the test runs smoothly. This proved that rear casing as targeted still capable to prevent from damage. It's just small scratches on the back as a minor injury.
In the second stage, all phone was dropped in their part of corner. In this stage the Galaxy S4 shows its strength with only inflict damage on a relatively small angle.Meanwhile, because the second stage, the iPhone 5 getting closer to its servicing office, in a sense, the iPhone 5 could be considered received severe damage.
A similar fate experienced by the Samsung Galaxy S3, in the video you can see the device suffered more damage than the iPhone 5. Seen a few scattered pieces of screen time in the slow-motion collapse of the phone, but still able to operate even destroyed.
In the final stage, the three phones dropped down and the touch screen makes them a target. Results, S4, iPhone 5 finally surrendered unconditionally. In the last stage, the trio phone was almost entirely destroyed.
